Hedgehogs use ponds as a water source, especially in the summer. However, ensure your pond has sloped edges or a ramp to they can climb out if they fall in.

Purchase one or more of our pond kits and build it in the garden. Be sure to read our set-up guide and instructions that come with the kit.
Optimise for life
Make a ramp, use old rain water to fill your pond, add plants and flowers around the area. ALSO! Make somewhere for animals to hide from predators. Read our “how ponds change through seasons” guide.
